Let’s play some catch up…
When we got back from Louisiana we had less than a week with Ben before he went off to Punxsutawney to start his 8 week rotation. Ben decided to have a little campout on the deck with the kids. I had some church responsibility and when I came home Liddy had already retreated to her bed. I hung out in the tent for a few minutes then headed in. I sleep bad enough being pregnant without adding sleeping on the ground! Anyway, I came out to check on the boys a little while later and Ben was sawing logs while Ethan was wide awake playing with the flashlight! I brought him in and put him to bed! When I finally went to bed at midnight or so, I tried to get Ben to come in to bed but he was determined to stick it out! Here’s some photos I got before they fell asleep.
It wasn’t long and Ben was off. We were all very sad to say goodbye again. We spent that week catching up from our last trip and getting ready for our next trip. We had a weekend with Ben and then we were off to Utah…But that was June…!
